Anesthetic Procedures

During your operation, we make sure you are safe and comfortable.

Patient Advocacy

You are asleep during surgery; we act as your advocate during your operation.

As physicians, anesthesiologists are responsible for administering anesthesia to relieve pain and for managing vital life functions during surgery. After surgery, they maintain the patient in a comfortable state during the recovery, and are involved in the provision of critical care medicine in the intensive care unit. Anesthesiologists' responsibilities to patients include: Preanesthetic evaluation and treatment; Medical management of patients and their anesthetic procedures; Postanesthetic evaluation and treatment; On-site medical direction of any non-physician who assists in the technical aspects of anesthesia care to the patient.

Reno-Tahoe Anesthesia is a growing anesthesiology practice in Reno, Nevada. Our goal is to provide safe and effective patient-centered care. We do this by implementing a care-team approach. Collaborating with surgeons, hospital partners and nursing staff, we strive to implement the best possible perioperative treatment plan for the patient. This begins with pre-operative evaluation and optimization and continues through the post-surgical period.

Reno-Tahoe Anesthesia is a physician-only anesthesiology practice in Northern Nevada. All of our physicians are certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), including subspecialty certifications in Critical Care Medicine, Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Management. When your anesthesiologist is ABA certified, you can rest assured that they have a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of anesthesiology. All of our physicians also maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
